Tinki

Meet Miss Tinki!

Periodically WWR takes “non-westies” to help out shelters. Tinki here is a lovely 3-4 year old, 14 pound, sort of corgi looking, cute little love bug! Her foster mom says she is the easiest foster she has ever had. Tinki is fully house broken, walks well on a leash, sleeps peacefully next to you on the bed and loves to cuddle. She gets along very well with other dogs.  Currently she is playing, sometimes unwillingly, but always patiently,  with a 5 month old puppy. Tinki would do best in a home with someone home most of the day. If you are interested in applying for Tinki, please elect “Adopting” and click on the WWR Adoption Application link to start the process! 

Meet Ollie!

Ollie comes from a loving home. He was given up due to a change in family circumstances. He is a senior westie at 11 years of age. Ollie is getting his teeth cleaned and a good grooming this week, but other than that, he is in good health. Ollie gets along well with other dogs. However, he does not want to interact with busy younger dogs. If you are looking for a companion for your current dog, Ollie most likely would not be a good choice. He likes other dogs but seems more interested in finding his new human(s). Meet Tilly the Westie/Bichon mix!

At 5 months old (born 10-12-25), Tilly is an adorable, lively girl. Tilly currently is 10 pounds, but is predicted to be around 20 when she is full grown. As stated earlier, she is a Westie/Bichon mix although she looks very Westie at this time. Her foster mom can also vouch that she has the Westie personality meaning she is full of fun and confidence. Tilly is in excellent health, loves to play endlessly with her foster siblings and is interested in everything. Tilly does communicate when she needs to go out so accidents have been few and mostly due to her foster mom’s inattention. Tillie would do best in a home with another ACTIVE dog or child over 12 who will play with her a lot. Tilly would also be best in a home where there is an adult present most of the day. She loves humans.  A fenced in yard would also be a plus. She needs to be able to zoom, chase and be chase at great speeds.
